Important Shelf Gala Announcement

It is with great regret that Shelf Gala Committee 2021 have taken the decision due to the serious nature of Covid 19 and the uncertainty of what may occur over the next few weeks we have decided to postpone Shelf Gala for 2021 and start planning for a Bumper Gala on July 2nd, 2022.

We had hoped to do the 2021 Shelf Gala on Saturday, 11th September, 2021 to give the local communities, charities, organisations, businesses something to help them raise funds for their causes and a good day out.

Donations and donation requests following the proposed Gala will depend on our costs incurred and funds made but at this current time we don’t know, depending on Government guidance, Calderdale Council, number of Covid positive tests in Calderdale etc as to whether we would have been permitted to put on this proposed gala.

Over the last couple of months we have still been planning and contacting stalls, advertisers, sponsors etc to get some indication of what we could have put on. We did say that we would not take any money from stallholders, advertisers and sponsors until after 1st August when we hoped we would have the details that we could put on the gala.
