Shelf Gala 2015
On Saturday 4th July 2015 we have another very successful gala both in numbers attending and funds raised. Again the weather was very kind to us although at 7.00am when the committee start in Shelf Hall Park we could barely see the fairground rides at the bottom of the park because of low cloud or mist but we carried on regardless and through having faith the sun came out around 11.15am and remained shining all day as you will see from the slideshow above.

On stage and in the arena we had some great entertainment in the form of Selah Sounds, a great local group, The Imperial Crusaders Marching Band, local dance group The Pennine Magpies, Dog Competition organised by Vets4Pets including Fancy Dress, Look Alike Owners and Best at Show and Shotokan Karate Demonstration.

All the preparations went fine, we used the new layout for the stalls stalls which seems to work better and again the procession started at Bethel Chapel. This year we had to employ the services of a traffic management company and although shorter than the original procession it enabled us to still include it as it is aa big part of Shelf Gala.
